NHL Game Summary – Columbus at Chicago

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Troy Brouwer scored the go-ahead goal with 6:18 remaining in the third period to lead the Chicago Blackhawks to a 4-3 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets in the preseason opener for both teams.

Patrick Sharp, Pascal Pelletier and Kris Versteeg also lit the lamp for Chicago. Corey Crawford stopped 25-of-28 shots in the triumph.

Jason Chimera, Jiri Novotny and Alexandre Picard scored for the Blue Jackets. Fredrik Norrena let in two goals on 24 shots over the first two periods, and Daniel Lacosta stopped six-of-eight shots over the course of the final stanza.
