Bomb & Arson Squad Investigates Fire At Chinese Restaurant

CHICAGO -- Detectives from the police Bomb and Arson Unit responded to a suspicious fire on the West Side on Tuesday morning.The fire, at a Chinese restaurant on 26th Street and Central Park Avenue, broke out about 1 a.m., according to Fire Media spokesman Cmdr. Will Knight.According to a Harrison District officer, the blaze started when someone threw a flammable substance at the building, but the officer did not have further details.
