Car Flips, Burns In Oak Lawn Crash

OAK LAWN, Ill. -- Speeding may be responsible for an early Thursday rollover crash and fire in southwest suburban Oak Lawn, police said. No serious injuries were reported.At 2:25 a.m., a Pontiac Grand AM was possibly speeding west on 95th Street when it flipped in the 5400 block of West 95th Street, causing a fire, according to an Oak Lawn police spokesman.No serious injuries were reported in the one-car crash and the eastbound lanes were "fully open" at 4:20 a.m. Westbound lanes were expected to reopen about 5 a.m., according to the spokesman.
