During his free time, William Hinderman learned how to develop web pages and used that knowledge to connect isolated individuals with the world.
After visiting his great-grandmother in an assisted living facility Billy realized what a gift the visits were the both of them. He recognized that other residents who had out-of-town relatives were not as fortunate, and that they were shut off from communicating with the world at large.
Billy set out to change that.
He developed "The Ladies & Lads of the Court" Web Page where visitors can click to learn more about the lives of the residents. A thoughtful web master, he sometimes considerately enhances the photos, erasing the wrinkles and spots that he feels would deter from the real person inside.
He started this project two years ago, at the tender age of nine. Since then, many of his participants have passed on, but because of Billy, they are immortalized leaving their footprint in the sands of the Internet.
